Description:Catalogued as a study after Ruben's Portrait of his Wife, Helena Fourment, by Unknown Artist (possibly by Joseph van Aken). This study is not taken directly from Rubens' portrait however. It may be a study after a work by Ramsay, who based a number of portraits on Rubens' original (LB, 2022).
