Study of a woman's right arm, in Van Dyck dress, in a feigned oval; the sleeve slashed and decorated with a bow and pearl, and finished with a lace cuff. The bodice is trimmed with lace. Inscribed to lower left 'White & Blew.' Made by Joseph Wright of Derby (1734 - 1797). Black and white chalk on blue paper, in cream window mount.
